Lufthansa Pilots’ Union Threatens New Strikes
After negotiations in the labor dispute between Lufthansa German Airlines and the pilots’ union VC (Vereinigung Cockpit) failed this Thursday, today’s Germanwings flights scheduled between 06:00 and 12:00 at all German airports will be affected by strike measures.

116 of a total of 164 relevant flights have been cancelled. The airports Cologne/Bonn and Stuttgart are affected the most. Overall, some 15.000 passengers cannot take their flight.

Meanwhile, the train drivers’ union GDL (German Train Drivers Union) has announced that strikes at the Deutsche Bahn won’t take place in this week.
