Buffalo, New York, was hit by a heavy snow storm. About a third of flights have been canceled at Buffalo/Niagara International Airport. About 60 combined arrivals and departures had been canceled there as of 11:45 a.m., according to FlightAware.

Snow also affected air travel in and out of Michigan. Several flights at Gerald R. Ford International Airport were either canceled or delayed because of severe winter weather. Several dozen flights coming in and going out of the Kalamazoo-Battle Creek airport were also canceled yesterday.
