On Thursday (11/09/2014), the meteorologists at the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics (ZAMG) warned of possible mudslides and floods in Austria, which might be caused by the strong continuous rain that has been dominating the country for the most part. Improved weather conditions are expected in the coming week.
In many other countries of Central Europe weather warnings were issued as well, such as in the south of Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy.
