The Lufthansa pilots continue their wave of strikes.
The Lufthansa pilots and copilots announced a new strike for Tuesday, September 16, at Frankfurt airport.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. no long-haul flights will take off from Germany’s largest airport, the pilot’s union Vereinigung Cockpit said Monday morning.
Also as announced two weeks ago, Air France pilots are on strike from today for seven days.
Around half of all flights will be canceled due to the strike action as from Monday, September 15. According to Air France, 48 percent of all flights scheduled are expected to take place.
Air France flights operated by other airlines, including HOP, KLM and Delta, are maintained.
Please be prepared for considerable air traffic delays and disruptions as well as delays in mail processing and delivery.
