Last night almost 80 flights have been canceled and around 300 flights were delayed at Shanghai Pudong and Hongqiao airports due to severe weather.
At Pudong International Airport 22 flights have been canceled, and 138 were delayed.
Hongqiao International Airport reported 55 canceled flights and 148 delays.
According to Shanghai’s airport authority, seven arriving flights, operated by China Eastern, Air China and Hainan Airlines, have been diverted to airports near Shanghai at 9 p.m.
